There are numerous forms of meditation practiced worldwide, each with its own techniques, goals, and cultural contexts. SerenityXR offers a form of Guided Imagery Meditation that involves visualising calming scenes or experiences to relax the mind and body. It does this by transporting you to some of the most beautiful and tranquil environments in the world, and others you wish existed in real life - all created using sophisticated 3D-animation software and experienced on the most advanced VR headsets.

Our standard guided meditation exercises will be offered in 5, 10, 15, and 30 min sessions but they can also be customised according to your personal needs, or the needs of your organisation and event.
The forms of meditation offered on SerenityXR include:

Zen Meditation (Zazen)
A practice which evolved from Zen Buddhism, it involves seated meditation with a focus on posture, breathing, and mindfulness.

Mindfulness Meditation
The focus is on cultivating present moment awareness through observing thoughts, sensations, and emotions without judgment.

Movement Meditation
The focus here is on movement rather than stillness or seated postures. It involves using physical movements as a means to cultivate mindfulness, presence, and relaxation. Unlike traditional seated meditation, which often involves staying still and focusing on the breath or a mantra, movement meditation encourages practitioners to bring awareness to their body and its movements. Examples of Movement Meditation include: Walking Meditation, Tai-Chi, Qi Gong, Yoga, and Dance Meditation.
